THREAD LIFT PROCEDURE

Forte Faces offers a unique approach to thread lifting. Most practices utilize one type of PDO threads. Both Miranda and Sara are PDO thread and Silhoutte Instalift certified providers. This makes reaching your thread lift goals much more attainable by utilizing a different approach based on the individual patient.

What are threads?

The term “threads” in Aesthetic Medicine refers to dissolvable sutures that are placed just beneath the skin to lift and tighten mild-moderate skin laxity and jowling. The threads offered at Forte Faces are FDA approved to lift and tighten the face without the expense, downtime, and invasiveness of a traditional surgical facelift.

How do threads work?

Both PDO threads and Silhouette Instalift are made with a 100% bioavailable compound that dissolves overtime to stimulate your body’s own natural collagen and elastin stimulation leaving you with a natural, lifted result.

Does it hurt?

Injectable numbing will be administered prior to treatment for comfort. Complimentary Pro-Nox is available for all patients.

Is there downtime?

Mild swelling and tenderness may occur for several days after treatment. Patients may use ice or non-steroidal anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen if necessary.
